2008 was a near ideal vintage for Cab Franc. A warm summer follow by a cool November resulted in wines with an unusually broad flavor profile. Normally requiring blending, this Cab Franc did not. Very spicy with pepper and olives notes and an unusual depth of fruit for this varietal. Pairs well with red meat and rich, savory dishes. Also great with Italian cuisine. Unfiltered and unfined.
