Made entirely from DeChaunac grapes this wine achieves the promise of Pinot Noir like wine from this often disparaged grape. In a great vintage like 2007 DeChaunac can shine as a complex light wine with red raspberry and red cherry flavors as well as the earthy complex undertones we associate with burgundian wine. Enjoy with luncheon or light dinner fare which includes some raw vegetable or fruit in the mix. Delightful. Unfiltered and unfined.
