This wine has an intense blackberry and briar character. The depth of flavor is extraordinary and a testament to the warmth of the 2007 vintage. The wine pairs especially well with holiday cuisine, slow cooked meats, casseroles and richly flavored desserts. Though dry, this wine can be served as a substitute to Port. Unfiltered and unfined.
