2006 Vino Fino Back to all products

Richard Fino’s farm in nearby Milton is the source for all the grapes in this wine. Richard has been planting modern varietals to replace the old standbys and this wine is a testament to his hard work and foresight. The wine shows off the rich fruit flavors and the deep nearly black colors which are the result of many years and countless crossings during grape varietal development.

The wine is deeply colored and has a rich fruit flavor that jumps out of the glass. The wine is dry but the layers of purple fruit have an aromatic sweetness which is deceptive. Ideal for barbecue and savory red meat cuisine it is nearly impossible to overpower this wine.

50% Frontenac, 50% DeChaunac. Unfined and unfiltered. 12% Alcohol. Barrel aged 11 months.
