2006 Hudson Heritage White Back to all products
This wine plays homage to the long success which the Seyval Blanc grape variety has had in the Hudson Valley. Mark Miller at Benmarl Winery worked with the grape for over 40 years developing a French maritime style of wine. Now that Mark has retired we have decided to produce our own version of his classic to continue the progress with Hudson Valley Seyval Blanc based white wine.
This wine has a complex nut and smoke nose and a delightyful crisp citrusy taste. It is a perfect accompaniment to shellfish and lightly sauced white fish entrees. Because of it’s minerally dryness, the wine also works as a refreshing aperitif.
85 % Seyval Blanc, 5 % Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Gris and 5% Riesling. Unfined and unfiltered. 12% Alcohol.
